Ho boy. Angle's out with an injury, so how is the WWE gonna handle this? It's time for The Great Thomas SmackDown! Report!

Mysterio vs. Noble vs. Tajiri: Cruiserweights galore! HIGH ANGLE SUPERPLEX! Tajiri counters the 619. Mysterio wins via rollup. Mysterio's goin' to WrestleMania!

Los Guerreros vs. F.B.I.: New movie for Cheech and Chong! Anyway, Chavo wins via Frog Splash. Afterwards, F.B.I. does a beatdown.

Heyman: He's afraid of facing Brock in a steel cage. Angle goes off to talk Stephie out of it.

Head of State: I already know this movie will suck, and I haven't even seen it! Not that I'm going to...

Stephie: Ooooh, bangs! Heyman is so desperate to get out of the match, he humps Stephie's leg. No, wait... Stephie sez if Brock wins tonight's match, we'll have the WrestleMania main event... next week!

Hardy V.1 vs. Kidman: Hardy sells Kidman's moves like a champ. Oh, wait, he IS the champ! Hardy wins via Twist of Fate. It's Hardy vs. Mysterio at WrestleMania!

Xenosaga Episode 1: I'd probably check this one out, if only I wasn't such a devout Final Fantasy fan...

Torrie: We see her Playboy photo shoot. w00t.

Nidia: She has adventures in the Playboy Mansion. No, wait... OH MY GOD! NIDIA'S GONNA BE ON GIRLS GONE WILD?! NAKED?! That's it. My wallet's gonna be a helluva lot lighter! Oh, man.

Hogan: He calls out Mr. McMahon. Hogan goes into "Insane Shoot" mode, and so does McMahon. He challenges Hogan to WrestleMania, and Hogan accepts! I can't tell you about this segment, It has to be seen to be believed. This segment is definitely going to be one of my favorites for quite some time! Beautiful.

Earlier Tonight: While the fans pile into their seats, Undertaker coachess Nathan Jones. I wish I coulda seen this in person. Or at least in a "Rocky" style movie. "You're a punk, Nathan! A no-good punk!"

Undertaker vs. A-Train: Nathan constantly interferes throughout the match. A-Train wins via DQ after Nathan shoves the referee. PFFFFFT!

Stephie: She sends out Big Show and A-Train.

Team Angle vs. Benoit/Rhyno: One fun match! Rhyno is absolutely crazy-go-nuts! Let's go to commercial break!

Team Angle vs. Benoit/Rhyno (cont.) Team Angle do a good job working on Rhyno's repaired neck. Benoit wins via Crossface to Haas.

John Cena: Look! Thug-o-nomics!

Tale of the Tape: I'm sorry, how much did Heyman weigh again?

3 Strikes: With Mo'Nique and David Alan Grier!

Angle: He tries to keep Heyman and Team Angle under control.

WWE Tour of South Africa: Jeez, was Torrie the ONLY Diva there?! PFFFFFT!

Wrestlemania Moment: Lawrence Taylor beats Bam Bam Bigelow. Boooooo!

The Main Event: Team Angle does a beatdown to Lesnar, but quickly get thrown out of the ring. Angle tries to save Heyman, but to no avail. Lesnar wins via F-5. It's Lesnar vs. Angle next week!

That's all for this week. Until then, Good Night, take care of yourselves, and I'm proud to announce that I've beaten Zelda: Ocarina of Time! Next, Kingdom Hearts! That is all.

Thanks for the report. Here, the first hour was pre-empted for the President's speech and ensuing questions from reporters. The show was joined right at the moment when Hogan called out Vince. I agree with how great that segment was. Lots of shooting, but great emotion showing through. Looks like I missed a lot of great stuff in that first hour.

Of course you'd want the whitest female on the roster to be the ONLY diva to go to Africa. What did you expect?

I am disappointed that we'll have to wait another year before we see a pay-per-view level match between Angle and Lesnar. At the same time, I am stoked that we'll see Mysterio/Hardy at Wrestlemania. With Angle/Lesnar off, Mysterio/Hardy is currently my favorite thing on the card.

I didn't think the Hogan/McMahon promo came off that well. It's clear what they were going for, but they seemed to play off each other kind of awkward.

On the other hand, I loved Angle and Steph.

So Playboy Mansion security grab Nidia and escort her out, but completely ignore the camera crew?

Los Guerrerros seems kind of directionless. They get these street segments where they're stealing, but they're supposed to be faces in the ring? Let's give these guys something to do.

Cena's promo work impresses me more each week.

"Matt Hardy likes to look at pictures in Playboy." Well DUH. It's your BROTHER everybody keeps wondering about.

Decent setups for Wrestlemania in the face of adversity...uh...injuries...

-Mysterio v. Tajiri v. Noble- What an amazing opener. double deck suplex, 619's all over the place, sick kick by Tajiri on Rey while he was setting up for the westcoast pop. Even though the winner was pretty certain (and I don't read spoilers) Great match.

-Los Guerreros vs. Pulumbo/Stamboli-Ewh, average at best. Can't get into FBI. There was a spot that Stamboli ran and threw a Guerrero into a rope to get punched by Pulumbo and Chuck wasn't was late. Didn't like the match. The pin was cool though.

-Matt Hardy vs. Kidman- A very good match became even better because Kidman mocked the "Duhhh". god I hate that (Did Kidman use Torrie's playboy money to buy a personality?). Kidman takes the twist of fate better then anyone. Cool match. Duhhhh

-Hogan/Vince interview- I think it came off pretty well. Hogans best interview in a long time, hell McMahons best interview since his sabbatical (and I've been on him hard since his return). They did a good job... Good thing it was taped I heard Hogan flubbed a bunch of his lines, (I read spoilers after the show to see what if anything was edit out)

-A-Train vs. Undertaker- Warning: I'm sorry smarkness totally taking over, but I couldn't stop laughing seeing the sight of Undertaker teaching Nathan how to undersell a 2 on 1 attack LoL... Oh the match, well it was brutal. Totally awful. 5 minutes of slow-mo crap. The end had Albert doing a pin attempt, that no one would ever use unless they want it reversed to a submission. Other stuff I noticed: Big Show's white sneakers with dark clothes distracted me and made him even look more like a fat fan instead of a wrestler and something seemed screwy in a charge after the match with a quick cut of the camera's, can't tell what it was.

-Benoit/Rhyno vs. Hass/Benjamin- Wow 12 minutes! I don't know if I was in love with it like most of the writers on the net seem to be, it stalled for me on a few occasions but there were enough flashes of brilliance to make this a real good match.

-Lesner vs. Heyman- Man did Lesner shake off the anklelock that was on for a while like it was nothing. I get the strategy and I guess it was okay... Lesver/Angle next week, how many times did they tease this on free TV in the last few months?

-otherstuff-Nidia once again is the only female that is any worth on SD, Ha pretty funny Playboy mansion, ha to security getting her name wrong. She's at least interesting. Sorry Nidia no interest in you in playboy, you need to be a look-a-like generic chick like they have almost every month... Speaking of, never seen someone hyping a nude spread seeming so vanilla. Glad she's fulfilling a life long dream. Torrie is so low on the diva list that I have interest in seeing naked... GGW falls on a Thursday, real nice timing guys. I'm hoping against hope this bombs the big one.

Back to positives, how many weeks in a row is Cena cutting cool rap promos, hey I dissed it when the gimmick started but I'm getting into it... Angle backstage is always good as well, I still like seeing his chemistry with Stephanie, it's like the only time I like seeing her. Plus his motivational speaking to Heyman was sweet as well. God I'm going to miss him if he has to be taken off TV for any period of time

Line of the night Kidman (yes Kidman) mocking Matt "Uahhh". Then Tazz right afterwards mocking it as well saying "Duhhh" LoL

Random Smackdown Thoughts:

The Hogan/Vince segment was AWESOME.

Coach Taker ruled as well.

Team Angle-Benoit/Rhyno was good.

Another awesome John Cena rap.

Main event accomplished a lot.

Overall, another pretty good Smackdown.

Instead of having a match next week and making Angle/Lesnar I into a disappointment, the way they should write Kurt out is to have him open next week's show by surrendering the title. It wouldn't be because he was injured, but because he would claim to be enlisting in the effort to fight our nation's enemies and help bring an end to global terrorism. For the next few months, we could get occassional vignettes of Angle abroad, updating us on his part in the war effort. And a few weeks before he's ready to come back, Chris Benoit or Brock Lesnar could find him in a soundstage at Titan Towers, sitting on the set of a fake desert, just like Jimmy James and his hot air balloon.

Hey, everyone.

I thought Smackdown was rather good, but of course undermined by the coming year without an Olympic Hero. With that said, here's my thoughts on the show. First of all, we get on Taker's ass a lot on this board, but after seeing him coach with Nathan Jones, I doubt that if you saw him in person, you'd say the things you say about him. Not bad from my view. Angle was Angle, and that what makes it even more sadder. Personally, I wished that Angle did slip the tongue to Steph, after all, he's going away, you know, and you gotta have a going away present... ;-) I continue to enjoy John Cena, and I even imitated his intense "Wwwword, Lllliffffe!". Got a few chuckes out of that one. Oh, and Nidia should've been in Playboy after all, she's got more personality in her sneakers, than Torrie has in her whole body. She was great, and definitely reminded me of Eddie Guererro. If only they both were able to stop the presses. Team Angle were good, but what's Team Angle without the Angle? Main event was fun, especially the way Paul Heyman reacted all evening long. Funny stuff. Finally, the Vince-Hogan segment was good, but it was hard to get into at times because there was quite a bit of editing and overdubbing, and being an anime fan, that can really be a pain in the ass. Still it accomplished something, so I don't mind. Great show, and yes, next week is the last of Kurt Angle for a while. ::Sob:: At least he'll be in his hometown... ::sob::

Heyman's at 232? That makes him bigger than a cruiserweight.
Angle is nuts. Head down into the bottom of the cage on the outside with a bad neck? Kurt, its not worth paralysis.
I'm really going to miss Kurt.
'If not for me testifying against you, you'd be in prison now.' Does this mean Hogan had no credibility with the jury? Him and Vince should break out the old Joe Isuzu ads, because each time either talks, its a safe presumption to bet the opposite.
Los Guerreros should be heels. And they get stuck with B-Level Konnan music on top of it.
If Chuck Palumbo stays in tag teams and they don't try the singles push every few months with him, he could be a serviceable tag team wrestler for several years.
Fans are really starting to get into the crossface.
