Just curious to know, who did the Gore/Spear first
Goldberg?
Rhyno?
Edge?

And also who does this move the best of the three?

Goldberg did it first out of the three.

WWF and ECW, in a move to show that ANYONE can do a simple football tackle gave it to Edge & Rhino

Heyman changed the name from "Spear" to "Gore" because that's what Rhino's do. The gore their prey with their horn.

I wouldn't be suprised in the slightest if there has been many, many people who used a spear as a finish in a match. But out of those three, I would think probably Goldberg. But I can't be sure on that...

Finishing, I'd say it was probably Edge or Rhyno before Goldberg, since the spear was always meant to be a set-up for the Jackhammer, not an actual finish in and of itself. But, Goldberg did popularize it as a move before that time.

I would say anyone but Goldberg out of those three, since there are no real reports of people being broken and injured by their versions of the move.

For a second, I thought this thread's title was some sort of command. I was thinking, "But I voted for the guy...."

I always thought it was because of some skirmishes or something like that at autograph signings or a public appearance.

I always liked Rhyno's spear/gore the most. He looks like a little cannonball when he hits the guys stomach

Da Eagle has arrived

Out of the three Spears/Gores whatever you want to call them, I think Edge's is the most impressive. Espically when a Hardy (namely: Jeff) is hanging from a title belt!

Why do people think it's Goldberg's in the first place? It's just a running double leg with a more forceful hit with the shoulder. Heck, it's even off because with a football 'spear' means helmet-first.

Didn't Mongo get down in a three point stance and tackle people or was that Kevin Green?

OK, the Roode/Storm build up was awesome. Great stuff. Loved the video package, I loved Storm's promo, I loved Roode hiding from Storm, & Storm being made ot look strong by winning a Handicap Match. That's all fine with me.
