This was my first trip to Trish's website. You can tell that she is an honest-to-God sweetheart. You can tell that she loves her fans more than anything. She's worked hard to get herself where she is and I can appreciate that. These are the kind of wrestlers who deserve our support.
Everyone in the entertainment business pimps their shit when they get a chance...you think actors go on The Tonight Show and Good Morning America for the ambience?
I think this is getting a negative reaction because you rarely see Trish shill.
I made my first trip to her website on Friday, and well, she may be a shillin' but she's really cool. I read some of the archives, and her and Steph really are buds and they enjoyed working together. All in all, I'm learning a lot more about her, and my respect is increasing little by little.

I read this line, "Next week I'll be joining the cast of Mad TV. ". I have never watche that show, but I will be watching this one. I gotta see me some Trish. I saw her a Axxxxxxess and she is indeed a hottie.

Good star article. But the ultimate Trish interview came from a Edmonton Sun in May 2002 Click Here It really reassures me why I'm such a Trish mark, her attitude is so great and it really is such a great interview (which at the end Trish mentions who she travels with on Raw.. OH Yes!)
One of the best excerpts (not including travel buddy of course) is when she says "Each time out, I'm still learning and trying to make myself better and I love it a lot. I'm learning more about the character, facial expressions and all that camera stuff. I'm so focused on nailing the part.... "I've taken this step up but there's still so much to learn. It's all about the moves and learning to tell a story. You want to feel the people getting behind you and that takes a while."... The chick is talking about wrestling psychology, how could you not love that. And in her case it's just not lip service you could really tell she takes it seriously. Her selling is great (screaming when in a submission, selling her hip after a suplex) and of course recently her facial expression when meeting Jazz
The impression I get from her is that she LOVES being an athlete. She loves doing mainstream interviews and say "Yes I'm an athlete". And she really doesn't want to go back to TnA, especially seeing how sad the SD girls look. So she is trying her hardest to do anything to stay over as an athlete and at the same time trying her best to get women wrestling over so the women role doesn't go backwards.
I think that's one of the huge reasons she so good at getting her opponents over. She wants the division as a whole to work so well and she knows she has the star power. But she always allows/wants her opponents to even look stronger then her, which might take away from her overall overness because she never is made to look like a dominant superwoman, but on the positive end her storylines and opponents seem to get over with her. She really seems to be very knowledgeable on how wrestling works and it's not all about highspots or cheap pops.
I luv Trish, she really is one of the great WWE stories of being a total overachiever. When she came in how many people branded her the next BB who's going to be gone in 6 months... She's not the most athletically gifted person but she worked as hard as anyone and really showed a desire to be in this industry and not just use it as a stepping stone.
Her website is cool, I find it so amusing that she spends so much time trying to think of how to put Trish or Stratus into words. Her holiday greetings was "Merry Trish-mas and a have Stratusfying New Year" Cute. Her house might be bigger and she might have a larger bank account. But she seems really grounded and cool... All she needs to do is grow out of loving hip hop and she'd be perfect. LoL

Hehe, I agree 100%. Take THAT, Torrie!

Okay, okay.. after reading those interviews, it does look like she's pretty level-headed and fun. I do give her props for the strides that she's made. I watched a tape of Mania 2000, where she accompanied T&A to the ring. There, she's nothing more than eye-candy. She's still eye-candy, but she's come a long way.

For some reason, no matter what quote of hers I read, I always find myself with an "awwwww" type of a smile. She could be talking about waste removal, and I'd *still* think she was the biggest sweetheart in the world.

Plus, have you seen some of her pics on the Divas web site? MA-DONN-a-mia...she has been one reason for my recent appreciation for Greek-American women. (No, My Big Fat Greek Wedding is not one of them.)

"Darwinists sometimes find confirming evidence, just as Marxists found capitalists exploiting workers and Freudians analyzed patients who said that they wanted to murder their fathers and marry their mothers. They find further instances of microevolution, or additional examples of natural relationships, or a fossil group that might have contained an ancestor of modern mammals. What they never find is evidence that contradicts the common ancestry thesis, because to Darwinists such evidence cannot exist. The 'fact of evolution' is true by definition, and so negative information is uninteresting, and generally unpublishable."
I think Trish truly deserves the title of Diva of the Decade. She has the looks and beauty of a Sable or Sunny and more wrestling skill than Chyna ever did. If every wrestler had the dedication and drive that she did, it'd be a perfect world. She can sell an ass whuppin better than anyone in the WWE I believe. She is constantly surprising us with her wrestling ability. Remember the match between her and Steph at No Way Out two years ago? Austin/HHH may have had match of the year, but Trish/Steph stole the show (in my eyes, at least). I love her kicks and her handstand top rope hurracanrana. I'm not a big fan of the bulldog, but that's a minor gripe for me. Trish is the future of Women's wrestling along with Jazz, Molly, and Victoria.
VS: I'm totally with you on the match her and Steph had at NWO 2001. In fact, it got my "match that most exceeded expectations" slot as my 3rd place vote for RSPW Match Of The Year that year, as what I expected to be a painful to watch bore became one of the best Sportz Entertainment type matches ever.
