When it was announced earlier this week that Keith Olbermann will be joining NBC for the 2004 Summer Olympics, my first thought was, "What are the odds Olbermann is no longer with NBC by the time the Olympics start?".
BTW, those who may have missed the news that NBC has hired Keith Olbermann to anchor its coverage of the 2004 Olympics on its cable stations can Click Here to read the full story.
And NOW there's a rumour that Olbermann is patching things up with ESPN and MAYBE he could reteam with Dan Patrick to bring back The Big Show version of SportsCenter. I don't know if this is a good or a bad thing...
How's he looking these days, anyway? I always figured he'd end up a dead ringer for Nachman - which would make the substitute gig quite appropriate....hey, wait, are you SURE you saw Olbermann guest hosting "Nachman?" I mean, maybe you just saw Nachman! ;-)
Olberman is old news. Nobody can replace the greatness of Kenny Mayne nowadays...
There's an old saying in Tennessee -- I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee -- that says, fool me once, shame on -- shame on you. Fool me -- you can't get fooled again.
When I was in Modesto, we stopped in at WinCo on the way out of town. We picked up Shasta Diet Chocolate soda ($1.98 per 12) and noticed something interesting... it is now using Splenda. We also picked up Diet Rite Peach (also using Splenda).
