It All Comes Down to This

by Christopher Robin Zimmerman
Recapper of Honor™

I know, I know. But let's face it - years from now, nobody's going to remeber how long after the show aired I got this thing out...

Hey, you could have killed some time reading DEAN's Workrate Report, but if you haven't, keep that link in mind one last time. I think he's still going!

CABLE GUIDE SEZ: The title is decided by a four-way match. (HDTV) TV-14,CC,Stereo. HD I hope you know what that means, 'cause that's all you get from the Cable Guide! I mean, really? Not even "The ROH World title" or even "The ROH title" but "The title?" COME ON.

"You're watching a special presentation of Ring of Honor wrestling on HDNet!"

Open - THIS is RING OF HONOR WRESTLING #12, coming to you from The Arena in Philadelphia, PA and airing 6/6/09 (taped 4/10 - seems so long ago) on HDNet!

From in front of the green screen, it's your hosts MIKE HOGEWOOD and DAVE PRAZAK. Last week, the tag team championship changed hands - will we see another title change tonight? That's then, but THIS is now - let's hear from the men in our opening contest!

SMACKTALK: "Cabana...you made a serious, serious mistake by sticking your nose in the official business of The Embassy. Ah? And for that, I've went out and gotten my associate. Tell them." "Brent, for you it's just going to be the same as every other night, you're going to lose, 'cause I'm Claudio Castagnoli, and I'm Very European." "It's OVAH. HAhaha..."

SMACKTALK: "Claudio...tonight it ends, this has gone on long enough. Tonight, you got a couple idiots with you...well tonight I've got an idiot with me." "COLT CABANA i-- (does double take) is BACK in Ring of Honor, and Embassy, you guys can throw your chairs, you can throw your money, you can throw your shoe-- who throws a shoe? Huh. The smacktalk's over, we're headin' to the ring, and we're gonna beat you down." And he plants one on Albright, who reacts as you'd expect a man being kissed by Colt Cabana to react. "Ooh, sorry!" I should note that Cabana spent the first part of the promo looking around as if he saw the invisible borders of the smacktalk inset box, which....which still gets a laugh from me, actually.

THIS TAG TEAM MATCH IS SCHEDULED FOR ONE FALL WITH A FIFTEEN MINUTE TIME LIMIT
DIRTY ERNIE OSIRIS (Dirty Water on Long Island, NY - 181 pounds - accompanied by Prince Nana) & CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI (United Banks of Switzerland - 107 kilo) vs. BRENT ALBRIGHT & COLT "BOOM BOOM" CABANA (490 pounds)

Referee: PAUL TURNER

Osiris is wearing the flag of Ghana like a cape - he APPEARS to have two shoes on at the moment. Heels scatter as Cabana's (new?) music plays. Cabana's jacket AND singlet say "Professional Wrestling" which is surely a snub at his previous employer in the field of sports entertainment. We get no real attempt to secure any handshakes as Turner rings the bell. It's Osiris and Albright to start. Osiris is reluctant to lock up - Castagnoli's not going to tag just yet. Albright shoves Osiris back to his corner - where Castagnoli no longer is, having jumped down to the floor to compose himself, or something. Osiris gets bealed across the ring - now Albright is climbing the corner and daring Castagnoli to get up onto the apron and face him. Osiris tries some sneaky forearms, which have no effect but DO get Albright to do the slow turnaround. Whip, no, reversed into a big elbow. Another swipe at Castagnoli, and he's out on the floor, nope. Tag to Cabana - Osiris whipped in - double big back body drop down. Forerarm by Albright on his way out. Cabana grabs a side headlock but quickly releases - I think he smelled something? Right hand by Osiris ducked - picked up - and dropped down atomic drop, style. Rolls him up with the legs - 1, 2, no. Arm wringer on Osiris...Ernie hits the ropes. Before the clean break, Castagnoli takes advantage by tagging himself in and getting the jump on Cabana. Single leg. Cabana counters by rolling over and somehow this twists Castagnoli as well. Double leg by Cabana. "Watching Ring of Honor at a friend's house?" crawl, I'm not going to miss mentioning THAT. Will he stomp between his legs? Will he? No. Goes to a single leg, so Castagnoli tries the same move Cabana just did, except Cabana cartwheels and lands his feet instead! Dueling headlock attempts, Castagnoli into the ropes, head down, sunset flip by Castagnoli, into a rollup, 1, Cabana rocks backwards and now he's got Castagnoli's shoulders down, 1, 2, Castagnoli unfolds himself. Cabana with one leg and stepping over, but Castagnoli boots him off - Cabana off the ropes and AGAIN with a spread leg to fold up Castagnoli - 1, 2, no. Arm wringer by Cabana - at this point, Osiris throws one of his shoes at Cabana which (as you can imagine) is highly distracting! Cabana turns to Osiris, and that's enough time for Castagnoli to connect with a Very European uppercut to the small of the back. Elbow to the head. Head to the turnbuckle. Stomp, stomp, stomp. Osiris gets some as well. Tag. Shoe back on foot! Choke in the corner - rubbing his unwashed hocks into Cabana's face. Cabana fires back with a right hand to Osiris, and elbow for Castagnoli on the apron, elbow for Osiris, over to the opposite apron where Prince Nana has appearaed, Nana jumps back, distraction done, Cabana turns back around to eat an apron clothesline from Castagnoli. Osiris tags out. Castagnoli with another Euro uppercut. into the corner, Caband jumps up and down off the buckle and fires a forearm at Castagnoli. Secont rope - jumps up and over, cartwheel, back body drop for Castagnoli, and HOT TAG to Albright! LISTEN TO THIS CROWD!! (Not really, alas.) Albright in - clothesline, clothesline, well at least HOGE is excited. Right hand. Grabbing the pants - knife-edge chop (woooo!), chop, chop, chop, into the opposite corner, flying heel kick out. Castagnoli manages a knee in the gut, another knee, off the ropes - caught in the belly-to-belly throw - 1, 2, no! Albright staying on him with an uppercut of his oen - into the ropes...Castagnoli hangs on - then leaps for a tag to Osiris. He wants NONE! Albright will bring him in the hard way. Tag to Cabana - into the corner, Cabana swinging himself and running with the buttbutt. Osiris sent to Albright for a powerslam - Cabana grabs both legs and spins him over into the inverted Boston crab which Prazak has told us a couple of times is called the Billygoat's Curse - and it won't take long for Osiris to tap out. (4:41) Castagnoli wastes little time leaving. Cabana takes off Osiris' shoe and shoves it in his mouth. KYLE DURDEN hits the ring for a few words and to get his head playfully rubbed by Cabana. "How do I feel? How does THIS feel?" and Albright shoves Osiris' shoe into *Durden's* face. Here's your replay - buttbutt, powerslam, Billygoat's curse. Albright throws the shoe....somewhere.

RING OF HONOR WORLD TITLE MATCH - TONIGHT! Yes, it's actually going to happen tonight - and here are the four men in it.

Here are some excerpts from the previously recorded words of Bryan Danielson. If you're dying to know what he said, go look up the report for Show #10

Here now is Tyler Black - you can find HIS words in the report for Show #11 - I still don't know what "fruitful" means in this context

Austin Aries' comments were ALSO transcribed in Show #11 - wow, either I'm really phoning it in this week....or THEY are...or maybe a little from Column A, a little from Column B

I bet Jerry Lynn's comments are next - and here they are! Find THEM in the Show #10 report - wow, we're going really quickly now!

LATER TONIGHT: Words from Ric Flair - I bet they're FINAL words!

BOBBY DEMPSEY (Findern, NJ - 282 pounds) vs. SAL RINAURO (already in the ring - Hollywood, Salifornia - 188 pounds)
Referee: BRYCE REMSBURG

Prazak says Flair will be appearing at the 6/12 and 6/13 non-televised events - I THINK that's still happening. ROHWrestling.com graphic. No handshake - Dempsey offers, but Rinauro shoves him instead. This can't be good. Ring the bell! Dempsey shoves him all the way back to the corner - charge avoided - Rinauro's legsweep attempt is shrugged off and he hits the deck. "Bobby's gonna kill you" chant. Face rake by Rinauro! Whip attempt - he ain't movin'. Another try, no go. Rinauro into the ropes, head down so he kicks him. Rinauro feeling good - into the ropes, no Dempsey is behind him and collides with him off the ropes. Rinauro feeling less good. Here's the Spicolli Driver - some porpoises will be slapped - 1, 2, 3. (0:46) Here's your replay. Here's ANOTHER replay, courtesy of CRZ: Just went to the website and checked, and there are STILL no Bobby Dempsey T-shirts for sale. So, again....the point of this squash segment has eluded me.

Hogewood and Prazak pretend to have a satellite interview with ROH Ambassador (for one more show, anyway) RIC FLAIR. When he was the champ, how did HE prepare for a match like tonight's? "Well, when I prepared for a match, it was just a question of mind over matter, I knew I was that good, I knew that no one could beat me, ah, obviously I studied my opponent if I knew who it was, um, and like everybody else, ah, that didn't think they could beat me, they didn't, I was that good. In preparing for guys like Dusty Rhodes as an example I'd be lookin' out for the elbows, if I was wrestling Harley Race, I'd be watchin' out for that kneedrop, if I was wrestling Bruiser Brody, I'd be watchin' out for the reckless abandon of one of the most powerful guys I've ever been in the ring with. But once again, as the champion, you have to have that kind of confidence, you have to know how good you are, and you have to know beyond the shadow of a doubt nobody you're ever gonna wrestle can ever beat you." How about a four-way? "In the sixteen world championships I've had I've only been in several matches like that but once again, every opponent has a weakness. It's important for the champion, which is automatic for me to know as I walked down that aisle, I was second to none in the world. It was up to my opponents and tonight it'll up to three guys wrestling Jerry to prove to him that they are better, and if they're not, it'll be a long night. Everybody wants to think, people continuously, challengers, night after night want to think that they can be the man, but there's only one man in this business. In this case, in Ring of Honor, it's Jerry. He'll be the man until someone proves otherwise, so it's all the controversy you want, you guys can hype it all you want, those three guys, the pressure's on them, the pressure's not on Jerry." He's the ambassador. What's the difference between ROH and other promotions? "The difference between ROH and other promotions is that....they really have a really strong inner youth movement, basically built around young guys that are so determined to be the best at what they do. Um, they're new, they've got a tremendous leadership team around them, they've got a vision, they're working with Hi Definition which is a huge network owned by Mark Cuban who's never touched anything he hasn't been successful with, and I think the Ring of Honor, ah, I wouldn't be here, as you know, I wouldn't have my name attached to it if I didn't feel they were going place. They don't have, ah, they don't look, they're not looking at competition, looking to hurt anybody, they just want to become one of the best products in the world of professional wrestling and they have that capability. I wouldn't be here if they didn't." What does he have to give back to the industry? "The main thing I have to give back to the industry is I give every young wrestilng or even older wrestlers that is competing today, I give them the ability to dream - to dream that one day in their life they could be as good as I am. As good as I am today, even though I'm retired...and I could do this right now if I had to. I know that everybody that walks down that aisle every night, every company that puts on a wrestling show in the world, there's a kid wantin' to be just like me. But he's miles away, you know why? Because he won't put in the time, he won't sacrifice the time, he won't get on the airplane long enough, he won't get in the car and drive long enough, he won't share the camaradrie long enough, he won't give it. If he does, he'll be a star in this business. I am the role model - I'm the flagship. I am a legacy unto myself. That's what I give to this - young people as a Hall of Famer. I give them the dream, I give them the quest, and I give them the desire hopefully to be the very best they can be in their chosen field - in this case, it's professional wrestling. Make no mistake - bein' the man and stayin' the man are two different things. I will always be the man, but I will shake the next guy's hand that ever comes along down that road that's better than me. It hasn't happened yet. That's what I give every young guy as a Hall of Famer." There is so much material there I don't know what to say. SO LET'S MOVE ON!

Our entrances for the main event are happening now. Austin Aries is first, and again forces timekeeper GIUSEPPE DI LORENTO to part the ropes for him. I BELIEVE this is the first time they haven't squozen four matches into a show...I'll have to go back and check. Ha ha ha, after I'm dead, maybe. Tyler Black is second. Bryan Danielson is third. I'm assuming that's CARY SILKIN in the ring with senior official TODD SINCLAIR and the ring announcer BOBBY CRUISE. The Champ is out - let's pick up the introductions. "Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is your MAIIIIIN EVENNNNT. It is scheduled for one fall with television time remaining." I should note it's about 24 after the hour. "It is a four way match, and it is for the Ring of Honor WORRRRRRRRRRLD CHAMPIONSHIP. Introducing Challenger #1 - from Milwaukee, Wisconsin - weighing 205 pounds, Austin Aries!" "Austin Asshole" chant. "Challenger #2: From Davenport, Iowa, weighing 222 pounds, Tyler Black! Challenger #3: From Aberdeen, Washington, weighing 185 pounds, American Dragon Bryan Danielson!" "Best in the world" chant. "From Minneapolis, Minnesota - weighing 217 pounds, he is the Ring of Honor WORLD CHAMPION, Jerry Lynn!" Crowd is rather anti-Lynn. Silkin calls in all four men and while you enjoy this "You'regonnagetyourfuckin'headkickedin" chant, we get the round of handshakes of honor™. For those of you doing the math at home, FOUR men means (4&2sup;-4)/2 = SIX handshakes. Actually, it's five and Austin kinda slaps Black's hand. Close enough. As Sinclair raises the belt above his head, we sneak in the

AUSTIN ARIES vs. TYLER BLACK vs. BRYAN DANIELSON vs. JERRY LYNN for the ROH World Championship

HERE WE GO. The first thing we need to do is lose two men to the outside so we'll be able to actually follow the action. Four men meet in the middle and....nothing so far. Aries doing a lot of talking - now piefaces Black. This gets Danielson and Aries into a shoving match and Lynn seems content to watch. Now a surprise shot for Lynn from Aries! That takes him out of it, good. Aries to Danielson, eats some rights from Black - Black and Danielson doubleteaming Aries. Whip into the ropes - Aries decides to go out to the floor. Well, we're down to two - wait, Lynn on the apron...Lynn with a CANNONBALL off the apron onto Aries! Well, NOW we can stop worrying about those two for now, let's look back in the ring where Danielson and Black are surely engaging in mutual respect - oh crap, it's that HDNet Double Feature as Lynn is ramming Aries into the barricade and I guess the director thought we needed to see it. Meanwhile, Danielson and Black have locked up - Danielson with the side headlock, Black powers out, Danielson with a shoulderblock. Off the ropes, up and over, heel kick by Black! Looking outside, okay, now back inside, it's Black and...Lynn now. Lynn with a side headlock, Black powers out, shoulderblock by Lynn. Up and over, Lynn grabs the ropes so Black does the backflip instead of the dropkick. That gets less impressive each time he does it because he seems to do it EVERY match he's in. Lynn goes behind, to the ropes, rollup, 1, 2, no, Lynn off the ropes, strikes Aries on the bounce, flying headscissors on Black. Can't cover as Black is in the ropes - and now Danielson is back in and pulling Lynn away. There's a leglock of some sort. As he bridges back, we sneak a peek outside where Black is chopping Aries out on the floor. Aries to the face to turn the tide. Back in and Lynn has reached the bottom rope. Outside, nothing going on. Danielson with an uppercut for Lynn. Into the corner, elbow up by Lynn - flying headscissors out of the corner! Aries in with the ... backrake. WOW! Here's a chestrake for good measure. This pisses Lynn off, so HE puts the nails to ARIES' chest - which Aries sells for great entertainment. Is anyone NOT fighting like a woman here? Let's check on Black, who has found Danielson and is forearming away from the floor as Danielson rides the apron. Double Feature. Lynn reversed into the barricade. Black still on Danielson - right hand. Danielson with a Euro uppercut. Into the ropes, knee buried in the gut. Kick by Danielson. Surfboard coming up, but Lynn is back in the ring...but not moving. Let's see if he gets that surfboard - well, not for long as Aries drops his forearm across Danielson's face. Now ARIES wants a surfboard on Danielson! Lynn setting up off the ropes but Aries bails, so Lynn grabs Danielson for a small package - 1, 2, no. Danielson with a European uppercut to Lynn. Rolls up Black - 1, 2, no. Snapmares Black over - facelock applied. Black behind and he puts DANIELSON in a facelock. I smell a stack...sure enough, Lynn goes behind Aries and clamps a facelock onto HIM. Black to his feet - drops down with a jawbreaker that works its way through all three chins above him! We'll give that a Double Feature style replay, of course. Lynn up first - onto Black and it's the figure four leglock (woooo!) - Aries rolls this over to put pressure on Lynn and then compounds it with a camel clutch of his own! Commentators fail to notice, or ask the question of who'd get the victory if Lynn gave up right now. Danielson renders all these questions moot by coming off the ropes with a big kick for Aries, breaking his hold, while Lynn untangles his legs and breaks THAT hold. Danielson covers Lynn - 1. Covers Black, not even 1. Danielson staying on Black - European uppercut puts him down. Setting up for another leglock, but Black kicks him to the ropes, where Aries ankles him and pulls him outside...and into the barricade. Black wants a pescado but Aries rolls in under him, so Black lands on the apron. Pounding on Aries - now wants a springboard attack in, but Aries comes to and shoves him off the top rope - and onto Lynn on the floor! Aries is pleased - but Lynn is behind him - gutshot - forearm in the corner - whip out - but on the charge, Aries gets under him and crotches hi on the rope! After telling Sincair he swore he didn't INTEND to do that, he gets right back on Lynn with a head to the gut. Neckbreaker through the ropes to bring Lynn back in. Aries covers - 1, 2, no. Stompin' kick. Got Lynn's hair - snapmares him over - is this a stump puller? Never mind, Black is on the apron, Aries over to shove him back to the floor - tries a cover on Lynn - 1, 2, is it. Aries looking for something else to do - right hand to Lynn. Shot for Danielson as HE made an appearance on the apron. Into the corner hard, BIG head to Lynn's gut. 1, 2, no. Stomps on Black and shoves him back to the floor. Aries has taken over. Back leg heel trip. Off the ropes, off the ropes, off the ropes...playing to the crowd? Sure, why not. Another shot to Dragon to keep him from entering the ring. Looks like Lynn has been given enough time to recover, however - pops up with a forearm, forearm, forearm, off the ropes, knocks Aries down, again, but the third time, Aries shoves him THROUGH the ropes and hard into the barricade, shoulder first! Aries is now the only man in the ring - time to fly? Off the ropes...but tripped up by Danielson! Aries sells the nose and everyone has fun. Aries up quick, though, and headbutts Danielson's gut, taking him AGAIN to the floor. Now he's going to fly onto DANIELSON - off the ropes, but from the opposite side LYNN trips up Aries and AGAIN he goes down hard, nose first! Not Aries' day. Lynn on the apron - Aries in with the headbutt but Lynn's seen this movie before - jumps up, crisscrosses his legs and guillotines Aries! Meanwhile, Black is up from yet another side of the ring apron - springboard clothesline CONNECTS! Black is FIRED UP because we were all wondering where the hell he was! Running forearm for Aries in the corner, shoves Aries over to Lynn (back in), LYNN with a TKO, Danielson is back in so here's a running knee off the ropes for Aries. 1, 2, Lynn AND Black pull Danielson off Aries. Danielson with an uppercut for Black, one for Lynn, one for Black, one for Lynn, Lynn shot into the corner, reversed, Danielson stairsteps up the ropes in the corner and backflips off, into a waistlock by Black, reversed, meanwhile Lynn is sitting on the top turnbuckle, wants a sunset flip on Danielson, who ends up suplexing Black in the process! Lynn on Danielson - 1, 2, no! Crowd applauds politely. At this point, the "Follow RING of HONOR on TWITTER - Twitter.com/ROHonHDNET" graphic mysteriously appears....and just as silently disappears before anyone can catch their breath. Lynn up first - forearm for Danielson, forearm, into the ropes is reversed, dueling rollups see a couple million 1 counts. Meanwhile, Aries is out on the floor and grabbing Black's ankles to pull him out, but this fails and Black ends up kicking Aries away and hard. Back to Lynn who has Danielson down - Danielson trying to bridge and Lynn not having it - 2, 2, 2, finally Black is off the second rope with a nice quebrada that lands on BOTH men - 1, 2, Danielson STILL finds a way to bridge out of it! Black boots Danielson in the head and rolls up Lynn - 1, 2, no! Black kicks Lynn in the head - wants to try to finish him but Aries is back in - off the ropes with a backrake (oh, come on - AGAIN?) for Black - and a lariat to take Black down. And now Aries has Lynn - Ric Flair style leg attack (Prazak says "shinbreaker" - I should call it that) and kinda bounces out of that into a back suplex. Lynn rolls outside. Danielson's turn - ick to Aries, kick, kick CAUGHT and HE gets the shinbreaker/suplex combo from Aries. Danielson outside. Black's up (sorta) - right hand, right, chop (woooo!), into the ropes, Aries ducks the clothesline and FINALLY manages to fly through the ropes and headbutt somebody out on the floor - in this case, Lynn! Black still in - up and over the ropes and onto Aries AND Lynn! Wants another shot on Aries but he ducks it, backdropping Black over the barricade and into the audience! Danielson with a baseball slide dropkick out of the ring onto Aries - HE goes over the barricade. Danielson's not done - springing off the top rope, over the barricade and onto - just Black, because Aries got the heck outta there and back over the barricade! I think there's a count in here somewhere - a quadruple countout seems unlikely, but you never know with these dudes...Aries is back in and awaiting the count. 7...8...9... Danielson and Black are still in the audience and not moving. 13...14...15... Aries wants Sinclair to count faster. 18...19...Lynn pops up under the bottom rope. Heh. Aries is perturbed! Brainbuster coming up-- no, Lynn counters into a backslide - 1, 2, no! Knee in the gut by Aries. Inot the corner, Lynn up and over with a sunset flip, but Aries rolls through and gives him a seated dropkick. Lynn to his feet - Aries in with the IED kick to the head - BRAINBUSTAAAAAAA - 1, 2, FOOT ON THE ROPE OHHHHHH. Aries is disbelievin'. Outside, Black and Danielson are back over the barricade but fighting over suplex on the floor attempts - Black hits his! Back in the ring, Aries trying a 450 splash - MISSES! (Prazak says the 450 was how he won his title defeating Samoa Joe - good to know!) Black is back in the ring - looking for a bucklebomb on Aries - Lynn happens to be in the way, but that doesn't stop him. FIRING UP YAAAAAA and Black unleashes the crescent kick to Black - 1, 2, Lynn has to save!! Black's up first - has both men in position for a phoenix splash (we are told) but Danielson is back in and crotching him on top. Danielson up after him - superplex maybe? BELLY-TO-BACK SUPERPLEX ONTO THE TWO MEN PILED BELOW! We'll give that a Double Feature replay as all four men stop moving. While Sinclair counts, we'll pause for the "This is Awesome" chant - perhaps the douchiest chant in all of wrestling, may I say - looks like it's Danielson at 7. Got Black - grabs both arms and stomps away between them. I think he got his fuckin' head kicked in - TRIANGLE CHOKE!!! Crowd commanding Black to tap but he doesn't appear to be listening. Lynn is over to break it up but before he can, Aries is over to grab him in a rollup - 1, 2 no! Last Chancery applied!! Two men in submission holds - two men not giving it up. Black picks up Danielson STILL in the hold - and powerbombs him onto Aries and Lynn! THAT gets a replay. Sinclair starts counting again. He's up to 4. Crowd opts for an "ROH" chant. At 7...nothing. 8...everybody's kinda crawling....9...and Aries and Lynn are both up - Aries takes Black and Lynn has Danielson. Right hand, forearm, everybody trading blows with eerybody. Lynn ducks, but eats a forearm by Danielson Aries puts down Black - goes for Danielson, Danielson ducks, flying kick by Danielson puts Aries down. Pele kick by Black puts Danielson down! 1, 2, Lynn FLIES in to break it up!! Crowd chants "Fuck you Lynn" - crowd are definitely douches. Black has Lynn up - no, Lynn has Black up, no, into the corner back first and Black gets sandwiched by Lynn - Aries runs at Lynn and lands a dropkick in the corner! Brainbuster coming up - no, Lynn knees Aries in the head so Aries drops him, now Danielson has Aries - Tiger suplex and bridge (!), 1, 2, NO! But Danielson still has his arms - but his back is exposed and when he tries a headstand, Lynn catches him - CRADLE PILEDRIVER COMING UP - THAT'S HIS MOVE - 1, 2, 3!!!!!!!!! Black and Aries dove but were too late. Still Champion...Jerry Lynn. (21:38) Here's a replay of the last exchange. Wide shot shows Aries and Black just too far away and too slow on the uptake. We spend a lot of time with all four men not moving. Danielson gets some water poured down his throat - that doesn't seem like a proper medical technique. Aries sees the belt - touches it - but Lynn snaps it away from him. Danielson is twitching OLD SCHOOL STYLE. Lynn raises the belt - and seems less than excited about the tepid reaction this crowd is showing him. Lynn wants a handshake - Black will give him one, even if he isn't happy about how things went down. I think we might even see a handshake between Lynn and Danielson - Lynn tries to help Danielson up, but Danielson doesn't want any of it. Lynn DOES get the handshake, at least. PEOPLE, it is a CODE OF HONOR™ AND IT IS SOMETHING SPECIAL. Lynn holds the belt high one more time - the boos are audible. We check out a bruise on Lynn's arm. Lynn with some words for the front row fan with the double bird. I can't say I'd blame him. For music informatoin, log on to ROHWrestling.com! Copyright notice is up and we're out. And so am I!

"You've been watching a special presentation of Ring of Honor Wrestling on HDNet!"

"Get Out!" is NEXT!

See Ric Flair 6/12 in Manassas, VA and 6/13 in Manhattan, NYC!

You know, it's funny...ROH apparently had a PPV coming up, but they NEVER, NEVER mentioned it ANY of these weeks. That seems like a poor business plan!

NEXT WEEK: "A Double" speaks his mind! Also, Jerry Lynn takes on Chris Hero in a nontitle match! Ring of Honor airs 8PM Eastern Saturdays on HDNet!

If you actually made it this far, thanks once again for reading! We'll see you some other time. Perhaps on The W?

Neither did I. Then I looked it up... and promptly forgot who he was. Seems he hosts Ricky Gervais's podcast.
